The Meltdown Race and Festival is a fundraiser for CAMBr, a 100% volunteer organization that builds and maintains singletrack, natural surface trails throughout the Chicago area, and is a major source of funding for Palos and other trail systems in the South Region. We’ll have a full day of MTB activities on Saturday before the Meltdown race and a great opportunity to taste the sweet singletrack Palos has to offer. New this year! The Big Marsh MTB Short Track Series Championship!

Course Pre-Rides
The Meltdown course will be published Friday night, so come out and get in that critical pre-ride (it’ll be busy on the trails so keep an eye out!)

MTB Festival: 3:30-6:30
Come hang out and enjoy the afternoon with your fellow mountain bikers, and get in that last demo ride before 4:00PM.

The Beer Garden & Band – Irish Legends in Willow Springs and Half Acre will be serving beer to settle the dust and help you carb load after a busy day demoing bikes and rocking the trails.  Beer tokens will be available on site for $5.00 or 5 for $20.00.   Don’t drink and drive, be smart and get a campsite. We’ll also have live music to cap off the day.
